Ronald Steven Gilbert, 51, of Kimball, died Tuesday, August 14, 2018.

He was born May 19, 1967 in Port Huron to Steven A. and Nancy L. Gilbert. He married Nancy Lynn Oswald on May 2, 1992 in Port Huron.

Ronald was 1985 graduate of Port Huron High School. He was employed for 23 years at Ontario Tool and Die and co-owned Nancy's Cleaning Service.

He was an avid Detroit Red Wings and University of Michigan football fan. He enjoyed watching movies and doing woodworking.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Lynn Gilbert; his three children, Brittany (Geoffrey) Taylor, Zachary Gilbert, and Brandy Gilbert; two grandchildren, Allison and Nolan Taylor; his parents, Steven A. and Nancy L. Gilbert; his brother, Scott (Becky) Gilbert; his sister, Tanya (Michael) Olbrys; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, August 18, 2018 in Blue Water Free Methodist Church, Kimball Township, with fellowship and light refreshments following the service, until 6 p.m. The Reverend Steve Sovereen will officiate.

Memorials may be made to the family.
