Maria Grace Handley

Maria Grace Handley, 26, of Port Huron, passed away unexpectedly on March 18, 2017, in Henry Ford Hospital, from complications of pneumonia. She was born November 17, 1990 in Royal Oak.

Maria was very passionate about being a mother and having found the love of her life. Maria also had a great passion for dance and spent the majority of her life competing in national competitions. She had been attending college pursuing her degree in accounting and was working towards becoming a CPA.

She is survived by the love of her life, Ron Kolman; her children, Auddi Handley, Bryson Kolman, Mackenzie Kolman, Ariana Kolman and Kaelynn Kolman; her soulmate and brother, Sean Handley; brother, Nathan (Bonnie) Handley; mother, Josie Trupiano-Bassett; father, Thomas Handley; beloved life-long friend, Hannah Gonder; grandparents, Shirley Handley and Frank (Emily) Trupiano; extended family, Andrew Babcock, Todd and Kim Heering, Hannah and Kerby Mahn and Kim and Bob Maskell; several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Edward Handley and grandmother, Margaret Trupiano.

Visiting hours will be 1-3 and 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home with a brief memorial service taking place at 8:30 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be directed to a scholarship fund being established for her children's college education.
