Julia Mae McClarty, 76, of Port Huron, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 7, 2018.

She was born August 4, 1941 in Port Huron to the late William and Lena McClarty.

Julia was a 1960 graduate of Port Huron High School. She was an artist, poet and seamstress.

She is survived by two daughters, Tora and Elaine Spigner; four grandchildren, Tareyton Baker, Taquana (Dominick) Bailey, Christa Cragin and Evan Cragin; five great grandchildren, Shyqueea Baker, Ladaz Baker, Ramone Neil Jr, Owen Baker and Demauri Baker; and her four siblings, William McLarty, Sylvester McClarty, Barbara McClarty and Mary Portis. She was preceded in death by her son, Douglas Spigner and great-granddaughter, Jaraya Baker.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 14, 2018 in Metropolitan Baptist Church. The Reverend Anthony King will officiate.
