Jo Ann Navarre, 72, of Port Huron, died Thursday, April 20, 2017.

She was born October 23, 1944 in Port Huron to the late Leo J. and Betty Anthony Sr. She married William F. Navarre on March 13, 1961 in Port Huron.

Jo Ann was employed at K-Mart for 25 years as an office manager and area merchandiser retiring in 1994.

She enjoyed camping, yard work and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Navarre; her children, Deb Janderwski (fianc Stacey Arscheene) and William Robert Navarre; her four grandchildren, Dani, Shannon, Amber and Autumn; her sister, Helen Lewandowski; her brother, Leo Anthony Jr.; her special cousin, Beverly Johnson: her sister-in-law, Sandra Amey; special friend, Jean Forstner; fur baby, Abby; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, David Janderwski.

Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Sunday in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, April 24, 2017 at Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Deacon Dennis Crimmins will officiate. Pallbearers will be Mike Booth, Rob Booth, Ed Smerer, Stacey Arscheene, Rodney Weir and Amber Janderwski.

Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Blue Water Area Humane Society or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
